L&R Kältetechnik GmbH & Co. KG specializes in industrial refrigeration systems, low-temperature technology, control technology and the risk-free operation of recooling systems and cooling towers. The systems designed in Sundern-Hachen are individually developed and manufactured for the respective application and the temperature level to be achieved. In addition to reliability, energy efficiency and sustainable operation over the entire service life of the system are of central importance.
The company holds a leading position in the global market for high-performance refrigeration chambers. Under the brand name Art of Cryo, cryogenic refrigeration systems were first developed in 1996 in various design and performance variants. With a temperature range down to -110 degrees Celsius, they are primarily used in whole-body cooling applications.
Whole-body cooling is not only used in medicine for rheumatism and pain therapy, but also in aesthetics, in trendy health clubs, exclusive spas and pure cryo-centers. Cryotherapy has also arrived in top-class sport. It boosts performance before and between training sessions and contributes to regeneration after sport. Whole-body cryotherapy is also enormously helpful for sports injuries due to its anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
With its Art-of-Cryo-Lab, which went into operation in 2020 directly at the company headquarters in the center of Hachen, the company itself offers high-performance whole-body therapy for the regional population. L & R’s holistic concept in the production of high-performance cold chambers thus goes hand in hand with holistic customer care.
L & R Kältetechnik was founded in 1991 by Josef Lübke and Burkhard Rüssmann, who now runs the company as managing partner together with his sons André and Sebastian Rüssmann and Thomas Imenkämper.
