With PerfectSense, EGGER offers a specially processed lacquer surface with an extreme depth effect and special gloss effect (Gloss) as well as a warm, velvety look and feel with anti-fingerprint properties (Matt). For production, a melamine resin-coated MDF core board is further refined using an innovative lacquering process that is precisely matched to the surface. PerfectSense is suitable for use in the upmarket furniture segment and lends interiors an exclusive character. Numerous product awards, including most recently three interzum Awards 2023, are proof of the market’s high level of recognition for this product line and its surfaces.

PP edgebands have been produced and checked almost fully automatically in Brilon since 2016. The perfect decor combination for furniture edgebands in terms of color, gloss level and texture is offered in all thicknesses for all EGGER decors – also thanks to the digital printing used.

Founded in 1961 in St. Johann/Tyrol, the family-owned company now has more than 11,000 employees at 22 locations in eleven countries worldwide. It sees itself as a full-service provider for furniture and interior fittings, structural timber construction and wood-based flooring.

The Brilon plant in the Hochsauerland district was built on a greenfield site in 1990. Today, it is a fully integrated site with chipboard and MDF production as well as finishing, PP edgebanding, digital printing technology, its own sawmill and biomass power plant. Among the numerous awards, the „Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“ awarded to the Brilon site, the „Outstanding Employer“ award, the „Outstanding Training Company“ award and the „Family-Friendly Company“ award stand out.
