Walter Stauffenberg GmbH & Co. KG

We are the world market leader for fastening systems for pipes, tubes and hoses in hydraulics. Our world market leader product are the STAUFF clamps.

In its almost sixty-year history, STAUFF has developed from a contract turning shop into the market-leading C-parts supplier to the international hydraulics industry.

Arnold Menshen, an entrepreneur from Werdohl, recognized the advantages of vibration- and noise-reducing pipe and tube fastening at an early stage and introduced the STAUFF clamp to the market as early as 1965.

In the meantime, the company offers a product range that includes around 50,000 standard components in ten product groups as well as a large number of special and system solutions.

In addition to clamps, these also include tube connectors, flanges, hose connectors, quick-release couplings and valves for shutting off and throttling fluid media flows.

As a technology leader, the group of companies has a market share of 40 to 50 percent in the field of fastening systems for pipe and hose lines in hydraulics and fluid technology. The products are used in industrial machinery and equipment as well as in wind turbines, construction machinery, agricultural machinery or ships.

STAUFF founded its first subsidiary in the United States back in 1972. The company now has its own subsidiaries in 18 countries and has established a global network of sales partners.

A large part of the value creation takes place at the production sites in Werdohl, Plettenberg, Meinerzhagen and Neuenrade in southern Westphalia.

This is also the regional focus of investment for the company, which employs more than 1,500 people worldwide.

The STAUFF group of companies is part of LUKAD Holding, headquartered in Werdohl, whose shareholders all belong to the family of the company’s founder Arnold Menshen. With Lutz Menshen, a member of the founding family is represented in the management of the STAUFF Group.
