Competence in plastics – from the idea to series production WERNER LANGER GmbH & Co KG is the EU market leader for letters, numbers, special characters and company logos made of plastic and metal for the foundry industry. Today, 127 employees produce around 8,000 different technical plastic parts in 3-shift operation on an area of around 8,000 m2.

The company has thus developed into an important economic factor in the town of Meschede. The company philosophy formulated many years ago – quality, punctuality and delivery reliability – has earned the company an excellent reputation. Today’s slogan of „just-in-time“ delivery has been practiced at Werner Langer since the company was founded and is therefore nothing new.

The development of new and the improvement of existing production processes and production sequences is still a key focus of the company’s strategy. The company’s technical equipment is of the highest standard. The toolmaking department, for example, is one of the most modern in the Sauerland region. In the area of production, the Meschede-based company is able to achieve a multiple of the output volume compared to a few years ago without increasing its workforce thanks to continuous modernization and automation.

This economic development is unstoppable and if the company wants to maintain its market position, it must walk the tightrope between automation and human labor. The family-friendly company policy was confirmed in 2012 with the „Family-friendly company in the HSK“ certificate.
