As important construction and connecting elements, rothe^® slewing bearings and rings have proven themselves in mechanical engineering, in harbor, ship, car and construction cranes as well as in excavators, antenna systems, in aerospace, in offshore technology, in rail vehicles, telescopes or tunnel boring machines and in current and tidal power plants. Rothe Erde is one of the most important suppliers of slewing bearings for onshore and offshore wind turbines. Since the beginning of development, Rothe Erde has been supplying the manufacturers of these turbines and is still listed with all well-known OEMs worldwide. The high quality of the products and their continuous improvement as well as the customer-specific design are ensured by the world’s largest research and development center for slewing bearings with 10,700 m2.
