KuchenMeister GmbH, headquartered in Soest/Westphalia, is a family business with a long tradition. Since the foundation of a small artisan bakery in 1884
has developed into an international market leader for fine baked goods. The company is the world market leader in the Baumkuchen and Stollen segments.

A total of three sites in Soest (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Duingen (Lower Saxony) employ an annual average of around 1000 people. Around 500 different products are sold in 80 countries worldwide. The family business is managed in the fourth generation by the brothers Hans-Günter, Thomas and Uwe Trockels. The sites have been continuously developed over the course of the company’s 130-year history in order to combine traditional baking with state-of-the-art technology.

The company is constantly improving its machinery with its own designs. Numerous machines are patented and were built according to the company’s own specifications.
This innovative spirit also gave rise to the world’s first fully automatic Baumkuchen line, which made KuchenMeister the first supplier of Baumkuchen in discounters and self-service markets in 1992 in discount stores and self-service markets.
