VSE Volumentechnik GmbH develops and manufactures high-precision positive displacement flowmeters for various applications. VSE’s flow meters are ideally suited for highly efficient metering monitoring and provide accurate measurement results for almost all pumpable media.

With a commitment to innovation and striving for optimal customer solutions of the highest quality, VSE implements forward-looking developments in sensor and measurement electronics as well as digital connectivity of the flow meters. With the IO-Link communication standard, sensor data can be exchanged efficiently at field level in industrial plants. The integration of an IO-Link converter thus creates a smart volume measuring device at Industry 4.0 level that provides digitized process data as well as maintenance and diagnostic data and supports customers in process optimization.

VSE volume sensors are designed individually according to customer requirements through different sizes, modular systems and designs. This results in optimally adapted special solutions for demanding applications. Many years of experience as well as several patents are the basis for the high technological competence of VSE.

In 2022, the company generated sales of €13 million with 40 employees. The export share is 60 percent. A worldwide sales network with own subsidiaries in France, Italy, Great Britain, USA, China and India as well as further external sales partners ensures the presence on all important foreign markets. Production takes place exclusively at the Neuenrade site. Well-known companies such as Bosch, Siemens, BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen are among VSE’s customers.

VSE was founded by Jürgen Echterhage and Axel Vedder, who are still managing the company today. VSE is part of the Echterhage Fluid Technology Group, which with five production companies is one of the leading specialists worldwide in fluid technology.
