SCHÄFER Container Systems is the world market leader in the field of cylindrical reusable containers made of stainless steel with and without jacketing for the beverage industry, so-called KEGs (English term for cylindrical keg) and has the widest product range compared to the competition. As the innovation leader in the KEG industry, SCHÄFER Container Systems has been a reliable and inspiring partner to the beverage industry since the market launch of the PLUS KEG in 1978. All national and international brewery groups, almost all medium-sized breweries and well-known soft drink bottlers are among the company’s customers. The wide range of products includes almost all conceivable KEG types, be it pure stainless steel KEGs, but also partially and fully jacketed KEGs, as well as self-sufficient tap systems for small-scale gastronomy. The product range is rounded off by IBCs (intermediate bulk containers) and special stainless steel containers.

The family-run SCHÄFER Werke Group, headquartered in Neunkirchen in the Siegerland region of Germany, operates worldwide with diversified business units: EMW Steel Service Center, Perforated Plate, Container Systems and Industrial Containers, Data Center Infrastructure, and Office and Workshop Equipment.
