Meister Werke Schulte GmbH is one of the most innovative companies in the woodworking industry and a specialist in high-quality hard flooring. More than 200 patents and utility models for in-house developments over the past decades underline the central importance of innovation for MEISTERWERKE, which is now managed by the grandson of the company founder, Guido Schulte. In addition to design and technical product and assembly properties, product development focuses on sustainable aspects such as resource conservation. One MEISTERWERKE product that perfectly combines these aspects and shows that market success and sustainability can go hand in hand is the Lindura wooden floor, which was launched in 2014. Thanks to the special wood powder production technology and the special product structure, Lindura surfaces only need an eighth of the wood required for multilayer parquet flooring. With its MEISTER sales brand, MEISTERWERKE has stood for quality, innovation and sophisticated design for over 90 years. The family-run production company based in Rüthen-Meiste in the northern Sauerland region develops and produces floor coverings, panels and accessories for sale via specialist wood and building materials retailers in Germany and around the world. With the acquisition of parquet manufacturer HAIN (2018) and the moderna^® brand (2019), the portfolio was expanded to include high-quality manufactured flooring and DIY products. The joinery company founded in 1930 by Josef Schulte in the Rüthen district of Meiste began producing parquet flooring in 1954. Johannes Schulte took over the company from his father in 1972 and developed the first ceiling edging and, in 1986, the room-length panel under the brand name Meister-Leisten. In 1999, the world’s first impact sound-insulated laminate flooring was presented. Two years later, clickable linoleum flooring followed and in 2008 the innovative “Masterclic Plus“ installation system was presented for the first time. Thanks to this fold-down technology, the planks are interlocked by a patented tongue that guarantees a secure joint closure.
