Märkische Werk is the market and technology leader developing and manufacturing cylinder head components for high-performance engines. Our products are trusted throughout the marine, locomotive, power generation, oil and gas and high-performance racing sectors. Our customers‘ engines must generate power under sometimes adverse and challenging operating conditions. Understanding these diverse requirements, MW is able to address the wear, and service life problems of heavily loaded components so that, through an effective interaction of materials, product geometry and coatings, sustainable solutions are found time and time again. MW is committed to maximizing the service life of our components and ensuring reliable operation of the machine – whether in the desert, on the race track or even under hydrogen operation.

A globally active family business headquartered in Halver, which employs approximately 400 people in Germany and in its subsidiaries in the USA, China and Japan. Märkisches Werk is able to look back on more than 160 years of tradition with constant innovations. Production, design and development are carried out exclusively in Germany, where careful management of all resources is important to our success. The owner-operated company is now in its fourth generation run by a member of the Hoffmann family.
