The JOST group of companies was founded in 1923 and is still an independent family business based in lserlohn. JOST is highly specialized in the development, production and marketing of micronutrient fertilizers and is a world market leader as a manufacturer of metal alloy-based micronutrient soil fertilizers. Today there are three main product lines: Agro-bacteria, chelated foliar fertilizers and fertilizers for soil application. The latter have a long-term effect due to metal alloys and JOST is the only known manufacturer of this type of soil fertilizer in the world.
JOST supplies the agricultural trade and commercial horticulture. Consulting services are provided to end users. In addition, numerous industrial companies use components from JOST to refine their own products. Production takes place exclusively at sites in Germany. Nevertheless, raw materials are imported and finished products are sold through sales partners abroad. In addition to European countries, export markets include China, Jordan, Malaysia and Cambodia. The special active ingredient formulations ensure particularly sustainable and ecologically compatible plant nutrition.
