Jörg Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG – together with its sister companies Hedtmann in Hagen and Mecanindus in France – is the world’s leading supplier of spring pins and roll bending parts. The Mecanindus-Vogelsang Group has sites in Germany, France, the Czech Republic, China and the USA. Sophisticated fasteners are manufactured using the roll bending process from strip material of the highest quality and precision.
In particular, companies in the automotive industry, such as Volkswagen, Stellantis or Mercedes, rely on high-quality fastening technology from Mecanindus-Vogelsang.
In addition, well-known first-tier automotive suppliers, such as Magna, Benteler, ZF or Gestamp, as well as the leading specialists in the trade with assembly and fastening materials, such as the Würth Group, are among the customers.
The group of companies achieved worldwide sales of approximately 76 million euros in 2022 with 411 employees. South Westphalia is seen as an innovation location within the Group. In addition, sophisticated products in terms of production technology are manufactured here. The company first began producing spring pins at Hedtmann in 1930, then at Vogelsang from 1946. In 1988, the Jörg Vogelsang company was spun off from the Hugo Vogelsang company. In 2003 the merger with the French competitor Mecanindus took place. In 2021, the company Wilhelm Hedtmann GmbH & Co. KG was integrated into the group of companies. Following a management buy-out, the group of companies is led by the managing directors Ulrich Flatken and Olivier Lévesque.
