Jörg Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG is - together with its sister companies Hedtmann in Hagen and Mecanindus in France - the world's leading supplier of spring pins and roll-bent parts. The Mecanindus-Vogelsang Group has locations in Germany, France, the Czech Republic, China and the USA. Sophisticated fasteners are manufactured using the roll-bent process from strip material of the highest quality and precision. 

Companies in the automotive industry in particular, such as Volkswagen, Stellantis and Mercedes, rely on high-quality fastening technology from Mecanindus-Vogelsang. 

Customers also include well-known top-tier automotive suppliers such as Magna, Benteler, ZF and Gestamp, as well as leading specialists in the trade in assembly and fastening materials such as the Würth Group. 

The group of companies achieved a turnover of around 70 million euros worldwide in 2024 with 405 employees. South Westphalia is seen as a location for innovation within the group of companies. In addition, technically sophisticated products are manufactured here. The company first started producing dowel pins at Hedtmann in 1930, and then at Vogelsang from 1946. In 1988, the Jörg Vogelsang company was spun off from the Hugo Vogelsang company. In 2003, the company merged with the French competitor Mecanindus. In 2021, the company Wilhelm Hedtmann GmbH & Co. KG was integrated into the group of companies. Following a management buyout, the group of companies is managed by the managing directors Ulrich Flatken and Olivier Lévesque.
