EEW Group

We are the world market leader in the field of longitudinally welded pipes

The EEW Group is a leading global specialist in the production of large-diameter pipes and pipe components, primarily made of carbon steel. At five international production sites, more than 2,000 employees are working together to shape the energy supply of tomorrow. The family-run group of companies, headquartered in Erndtebrück (North Rhine-Westphalia), mainly supplies the offshore wind industry, but also the oil, gas, and chemical industries, as well as mechanical engineering.

EEW has also made a name for itself as a pioneer in the manufacture of monopiles, which serve as foundation piles for offshore wind turbines. With a production capacity of more than 200 monopiles per year, the EEW Group can make a significant contribution to the global expansion of offshore wind energy. In addition to steel pipes for monopiles, pipes for jacket structures, and piles, EEW offers additional services such as coating and assembly of secondary steel components.

In the early days of the company, founded in 1936, all kinds of iron and sheet metal products were manufactured, including not only pipes, but also heating oil tanks, gas cylinders, boilers, silos, large buoys, special trailers for cars and motor vehicles, and tanks.

In the early 1970s, EEW was one of the first pipe manufacturers to recognize the growing demand for pipe components in the offshore oil and gas industry. Since then, the EEW Group has been supplying offshore oil and gas projects worldwide with individual steel pipe lengths as well as ready-to-install and individually prefabricated steel pipe components. The product portfolio includes clad pipes of various material grades. EEW has established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of clad pipes with a comprehensive production line. The portfolio also includes LSAW pipes made of nickel alloys and nickel-based alloys for use in plant construction and LNG terminals.
