dy-pack Verpackungen Gustav Dyckerhoff GmbH, headquartered in Wenden, South Westphalia, has been a reliable partner to its customers and a strategic supplier in the chemical, building materials and food industries for almost 75 years. dy-pack specializes in paper-based packaging solutions for bulk goods that are difficult to fill and those that require a high level of product protection, e.g. for hygiene reasons or due to their sensitivity to moisture.
High quality and patented new developments are important pillars of the corporate strategy. dy-pack does not claim to be the quantitative world market leader, but sets the industry standard as the qualitative world market leader with highly innovative products with clever features. These include paper sacks for cleanroom production of food or pharmaceuticals, high-barrier systems with fast ventilation, opening aid, aroma protection, dust and rainproof paper sacks and, most recently, paper sacks for potting soil and substrates.
Numerous recognitions from customers and awards from international associations are proof of the company’s innovative strength. For example, dy-pack regularly comes top in the industry’s most important European competition – the Eurosac Award – and has even come out on top six times in different categories in the last nine competitions.
Originating from Dyckerhoff Zement AG in 1950, dy-pack opened up to international markets in the 1970s and 1980s, first in the Middle East and then in the Far East. This was followed in the 1990s and 2000s by the establishment of sales companies in England, the USA, Malaysia and India. From the new building constructed in 1997 in Wenden-Gerlingen, more than 40 countries worldwide are now supplied with packaging solutions developed and customized in Germany.
