DST Dauermagnet-SystemTechnik GmbH develops and produces high-performance permanent magnet couplings and systems. With over 30 years of experience in leakage-free and maintenance-free torque transmission, DST offers ideal solutions for various applications including the chemical, pharmaceutical and bio industries, petrochemicals, agitators, compressors and hydraulic applications, as well as numerous other industrial plants where 100% tight and safe drives are essential.

DST permanent magnetic couplings are a reliable alternative to conventional dynamic seal types. Even the standard series cover a torque range from 1 to 1,200 Nm. As a core competence, DST mainly develops customer-specific solutions from 0.1 to 25,000 Nm. State-of-the-art simulation software is used to design the
the optimum magnetic coupling for each application. Thanks to many years of application expertise and more than 1,000 magnet configurations as well as a wide variety of material combinations, DST can meet all customer requirements. Every year, DST produces a total of more than 40,000 couplings. DST is regarded by many well-known international customers as an innovative and reliable partner for particularly demanding applications. Through continuous research and development, DST permanent magnetic couplings can also be used in particularly hazardous applications (ATEX), such as hydrogen applications.

The company generated sales of €12 million in 2022 with 60 employees. The export share is 70 percent. A global sales network with its own subsidiaries in France, Italy, Great Britain, the USA, China and India as well as other external sales partners ensures the company’s presence on all important foreign markets. Production is largely in-house and exclusively at the Neuenrade site.
