Leuchten BUSCH GmbH, located in Menden (Sauerland) for over 40 years, has set itself the goal of optimally fulfilling customer wishes through specialized manufacturing in Germany. The claim to manufacture exclusive luminaires with in-house design is very important to the company. The company’s LED technical products were awarded for their energy efficiency in Switzerland at a very early stage. The company has been serving clinics, hotels and demanding private users for decades. The segment of recessed luminaires has turned out to be a strength, as long-term reliability and a functioning spare parts service are particularly important here.

Through permanent further development, not only internally but also in cooperation with suppliers, Leuchten BUSCH GmbH succeeded as early as 2010 in developing LED recessed luminaires that do not require external control gear. The direct connection to the mains voltage of 230-240V, which is common in Europe, significantly simplifies installation as well as maintenance. The guarantee of reliable and long-term use combined with the excellent efficiency of modern LED lighting technology made this innovation unique. The market leadership in the domestic area could be expanded to the European-wide market leadership by the year 2012, since these innovative lights could now also be regulated with pretty much any commercially available dimmer in the light output.

Since all other goals had already been achieved, the focus is now even more on light quality than before. The fact that the supplier companies are located in South Westphalia still makes it much easier to realize major challenges in technology and design. Solutions have been developed for every ceiling construction and installation depth. These are now available in the form of an up-to-date technically mature range.
