Ferdinand Bilstein GmbH + Co. KG is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of passenger car and commercial vehicle spare parts in the independent aftermarket. The seventh-generation family-run company was founded in 1844 and has remained true to its Ennepetal location to this day.

Under the umbrella brand bilstein group, Ferdinand Bilstein combines the internationally renowned product brands febi, SWAG as well as Blue Print and offers more than 70,000 different spare parts for all common passenger car and commercial vehicle models. The company has 22 international subsidiaries and agencies in more than 70 countries. This makes the bilstein group one of the world’s leading players in the independent aftermarket.

A special feature is its manufacturing expertise: the bilstein group is not only a supplier, but also manufactures selected spare parts in a modern production hall near its main location in Ennepetal. On 10,000 square meters of production space, the company bundles almost the entire production chain under the bilstein group Engineering brand: from toolmaking and machining to the hardening shop and quality assurance with its own testing laboratory.

In addition to technical wear parts for the febi, SWAG and Blue Print product brands, components for various industrial sectors are also manufactured here – including drive and transmission shafts and clutch hubs. Numerous vehicle manufacturers in the passenger car and commercial vehicle sectors also rely on supplier parts from bilstein group Engineering.
