From the garage to 70 countries: On August 17, 1973, Gerhard Rosenberg founded aquatherm GmbH – based in the garage and basement of his private residence. The ambitious goal? To revolutionize the market as a pipe manufacturer. This vision gave rise to the world’s leading manufacturer of plastic piping systems made of polypropylene for plant construction and building services. Areas of application include drinking water applications, heating system construction, fire protection sprinkler systems, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, and surface heating and cooling systems. The range comprises more than 17,000 articles in six product lines.

Cooperations with long-term partners around the globe in about 70 countries guarantee customers worldwide availability of aquatherm pipes and local service at the same time. However, production is „100% Made in Germany“ at the locations Attendorn (headquarters) and Ennest. Around 500 employees in Germany, Italy and England work determinedly according to highest quality standards on the production of safe and innovative piping systems. All processes are geared to conserving valuable resources, minimizing energy consumption and avoiding or recycling waste.
