The Degen brand later became the Degen GOLD brand and most recently the Degen GOLD plus brand.
Due to the special purity and mechanical properties of our copper spinning wires, strings made with them have an incomparable sound. In addition, the surface is specially treated and suppresses copper oxidation to a high degree – after all, the eye can hear.
All premium manufacturers of grand pianos and upright pianos worldwide exclusively use our Degen GOLD plus brand copper spider wires for their high-quality instruments.
In recent decades, we have established the production of hot-dip tinned and electroplated wires for the most sophisticated electronic components in addition to the traditional string wire.
