Based in Lüdenscheid in southern Westphalia, SELVE GmbH & Co. KG manufactures reliable, high-quality drives and controls for roller shutters and textile sun protection, as well as mechanical roller shutter components. SELVE distributes the products to all countries in the world where shading and sun protection is an issue.

Since its foundation in 1866, the company has been family-owned and the company headquarters are in Lüdenscheid. Development and production has always taken place in South Westphalia, the third largest industrial region in Germany. Originally nails and wire goods were produced, already in the 1920s the product range was extended by roller shutter components. Therefore, SELVE can now look back on more than 100 years of experience in this field.

In the field of roller shutter belt winders, the company can proudly call itself the world market leader. At SELVE, around 20,000 belt winders are produced daily on highly automated, interlinked production machines. In addition, the product range, which comprises around 3,000 different products, includes everything from SELVE octagonal shafts, roller caps, ball bearings, belt guides and gearboxes to individual shaft bolts for roller shutter components. Gradually, SELVE also has more and more products in the offer, which provide a higher energy saving in the house.

The comprehensive drive and control program complements this, so that SELVE is one of the few complete suppliers in this area.
