Julius Klinke GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1847 and is the oldest manufacturer of piano components in Germany. The company manufactures, for example, tuning pegs, keyboard pins, set screws and many other metal parts for the piano industry. Meanwhile, Julius Klinke is the only manufacturer in Europe offering this range of piano components. The products go mostly to customers in Europe and North America and partly also to the Asian region.
The company has continuously expanded its production range over the past decades and has established itself on the market as a quality supplier of complex precision turned parts. Around 200 employees manufacture high-precision turned parts on modern machines in multi-stage processes, which are used in many industries – such as the automotive industry or medical instruments. A wide range of materials (brass, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, copper and plastic) are used. The products are provided with all the necessary heat and surface treatments and in some cases assembled into subassemblies. From simple beginnings, the company has developed into one of the most versatile and modern precision turning shops in Europe.
The family business was founded by the great-great-great-grandfather of Julius Klinke, who is in the process of taking over the management from his father, Alexander Klinke.
