TRACTO-TECHNIK GmbH Co. KG is the world market leader in the field of trenchless pipeline construction with the GRUNDOMAT, which is used tens of thousands of times around the globe every day. The trenchless NODIG method is used in the construction of pipeline networks for water, gas, electricity, telecommunications, district heating, fiber optic networking and pipeline construction as well as wastewater disposal.

Since its foundation by Dipl.-Ing. Paul Schmidt in 1962, TRACTO-TECHNIK, a family-owned company, has developed into a multi-award-winning, internationally successful manufacturer of special machinery, employing around 700 people worldwide. Six branches in Germany and sister companies in Switzerland, Great Britain, France, Morocco, the USA and Australia as well as sales partners in more than 70 countries ensure maximum proximity to customers worldwide.

The innovative strength is reflected in well over 450 valid patents and numerous awards.

The product portfolio covers the entire spectrum of trenchless pipeline construction for supply and disposal. Be it earth rockets and mini drilling systems for laying house connections, pile drivers for pipeline construction, HDD flush drilling systems for crossing under traffic routes and waterways, or bursting systems for the rehabilitation and renewal of pipelines. Today, the company is managed by the managing directors Timotheus Hofmeister (managing partner) and Meinolf Rameil (technical managing director).
