OHRMANN GmbH is a technological and global market leader for special machines and automation solutions for the feeding and assembly of seals. Seals can be found in various sizes and in numerous industries and fields of application: Automotive, Valves & Fittings, Pneumatics & Hydraulics, Household & Media, Hygiene & Cosmetics or even Renewable Energies.

Because it is not economical to assemble seals on an industrial scale manually, company founder Cölestin Ohrmann was looking for an automated solution. In 1986, he applied for the first patent for the assembly of internal gaskets. This milestone formed the basis for the subsequent founding of the company.

With his innovations in the automated feeding and assembly of gaskets, Mr. Ohrmann did real pioneering work and laid the foundation for strong and dynamic business development.

To this day, OHRMANN defines the state of the art in this market segment and is a recognized leader on the global market with its expertise. During the company’s 37-year history, 22 patents and utility models have been granted.

The machines are as individual as the products to be assembled. The spectrum ranges from manually operated devices to fully automatic assembly systems for large-scale production. As a quality leader, OHRMANN relies on the perfect interplay of mechanics and control technology using modern high-performance components and materials.

Today, the family business is managed by the second generation. At the site in Möhnesee-Wippringsen, around 180 employees work on tailor-made assembly solutions. To date, 1,000 customers in more than 40 countries have been equipped with custom-fit machines that have been used to assemble well over 100 billion seals.
